HYUNDAI HAS SUCCESSFULLY LAUNCHED A NEW SCHOOL IN YEN BAI
06/14/2024

The Son Ca Kindergarten – Khao Chu School Site in Ban Cong Commune, Tram Tau District, Yen Bai province was inaugurated on May 24, 2024. This initiative, led by Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam Automobile Joint Venture in collaboration with the “Pair of Loving Leaves” VTV1 program, aims to provide better educational facilities for children, particularly those facing challenges in accessing education.

The newly constructed school, the 10th one supported by Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam Automobile Joint Venture and the “Pair of Loving Leaves” program, addresses the needs of the community in Tram Tau, Yen Bai. Located in a remote area that requires over 5km of travel by motorcycle under favorable weather conditions, the school serves children from ethnic minorities, primarily the Mong people, who endure difficult living circumstances. Prior to the construction, students faced inadequate learning environments due to severely degraded facilities.

As a longstanding partner of the Loving Leaves initiative, Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam Automobile Joint Venture has fully funded the construction of this new school, aiming to enhance the learning experience for children. Completed within 6 months, the Khao Chu school site now features one classroom meeting Ministry of Education standards, a teacher’s room, enclosed restrooms, and a separate kitchen for the students’ use. This endeavor reflects Hyundai’s commitment to supporting education and improving the quality of life for underprivileged communities.

ECOGLOVE, a green medical glove factory under TC Group, is a proud contributor to this project. With an investment of 2 trillion VND and a production capacity of 3.3 billion gloves per year, the ECOGLOVE factory stands as Vietnam’s largest facility in terms of scale and output.
